It's What We Do - Assistance House Entry Ramp
The Cresswind LL Veterans charity recently partnered with another local service organization to help a decorated Hall County area veteran in need.
A disabled US Army veteran served with valor in Vietnam earning both a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Living in the Hall County area now, he and his wife both suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, so severe they have great difficulty walking up the front stairs to their home.
Our Cresswind LL Veterans jumped in to help. We provided funds for the material and the local Rotary Club members provided the labor to build a beautiful ramp from their yard right up to their bedroom door, making it much easier for both to now get back into their house after enjoying the outside.
