MEETING called to order: at 10 a.m.by Kevin Pearson
COAT DRIVE: Another very successful coat drive for 2024. Special thanks to David Dittmeier and all the folks that helped him.
VETERANS IN NEED:
CLL Community Fund and Habitat for Humanity Request – Jim Snell
The board voted to approve up to $4,685.50 to help Levi Miller with home repairs once we as a board know that we have the proper paperwork and Jim and Kevin have done a home visit.
VETERANS DAY LUNCHEON (11/11): All set with Allison. Board members will help with setting up at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. by the Clubhouse flagpole,
FINANCIAL REPORT: As of 10/31/24 we have $91,650. Kandi shared that we need to work on a budget for 2025. She gave the board a breakdown of expenses for 2024 so far.
VETERAN GIVING DAY SHCOLARSHIP – with UNG
The board approved to send out to membership.

VETERANS WALL: Suggestion from Mark Nestle – current pictures of members
Kevin will work with Mark on this project.
IDEAS for the ANNUAL January General Membership Meeting:
Have a catered dinner:
Suggestion of Caterers: Vinny’s, Moonies Texas BBQ, , Bear BBQ, Longstreet
Cost that the board approved to spend on dinner: $2,500.00 (est. 125)
Rosemarie and Kandi will get costs to present at the next meeting.
OTHER BUSINESS: Ron Micuch and Don Burt have someone at Don’s place wanting to donate a scooter. The board voted to not take. Liability issues and the HOA agreed.
Rosemarie will contact Ron and Don and let them know.
THINGS to work on for the December Meeting:
Present to the board folks who are willing to serve on the 2025 board at our annual meeting.
Work on three to four committees that we want to work on and bring up to date.
Present to the board ideas and dates for RAFFLE 2025 (mtn home and Hilton Head)
NEXT MONTHLY MEETING: Friday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. – Clubhouse.
