New date for Casino Night...Friday September 23, 2022; we plan to occupy 2nd and 3rd floors of the Clubhouse. All board members asked to think about Sponsorship Levels and any ideas for Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Handout on Committees distributed and discussed; some changes are needed and will be worked on with appropriate persons.
Ticket sales for our fund-raising raffle and Hilton Head vacation home will be March 21 thru April 1; we will handle like last year, sales taking place in the Clubhouse lobby by Vet volunteers... prices are $10 for one and $25 for 3. Our spreadsheet is almost fully booked, and Jay has ticket supplies which he will bring to our meeting this Wednesday. Last minute details to be discussed with membership at the meeting.
Our Board is considering a food drive this year...details being worked on.
Our Vet Club is also working in partnership with the Community Fund, if and when we encounter a veteran in need whose needs exceed our normal contributions.
Discussions held on number and amounts of UWG Scholarships this year...we may offer 3 at $2000 each, for total of $6000.
And we do have a golf cart volunteered to participate in CW Mardi Gras Parade... need more volunteers and ideas for participation and decorations.
