The Cresswind LL Veterans charity has one primary objective – to provide assistance to worthy Gainesville area veterans and their families in need.

 

A local Navy veteran of four years has had multiple surgeries, including three major ones, in the last 18 months.  He is currently being evaluated and may need even more. He and his wife are not able to work and are living totally on their inadequate social security income. They had to take out a personal loan for their medical bills and needed help with paying for all their basic necessities.

The Cresswind Veterans charity stepped in. When Amy DeVillez, our charity’s president, provided them with several gift cards to pay for groceries, she noted his wife was so overcome with gratitude that her eyes filled with tears of joy.
