Minutes from the April 12, 2024, monthly meeting

Members Present:
Amy DeVillez, Rosemarie Bower, Kandi Andrade, Robin Dickson, and Jim Snell
Absent: Kevin Pearson and Carl Lambrecht
The meeting was called to order by Amy at 10:00a.m.
CASINO NIGHT: Wrap up of a job well done. Raised a total of $25,300 as of this date. (2 checks $6500
pending) this will give a total of $31,550. Waiting to hear from the HOA Board regarding the cost to repair
floor damage. Thank you notes were sent out to all our sponsors.
FINANCIAL REPORT: At the end of March, we had a balance of $91,940.94. Kandi provided members
with a detailed breakdown for expenses occurred for Casino Night. Kandi is continuing to work with the
account. The tax form is due in May.
VETERANS WALL: The wall is 80% completed. Thanks to all who helped with this project. Rosemarie
will send out thank you cards.
CAR DONATION: The board approved Alexander Baldwin (Veteran in need that we have helped before) to
receive the car. Amy will be meeting with Alexander and Dave at Auto Fitness to pass on the car.
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Will be held Tuesday, April 16 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
We will begin with our meeting and then follow with our guest speakers who will discuss new VA and
spouse benefits. The board approved of giving Good News at Noon $1500; VFW Post 8452
$700 and Helping Hands of Hall County $1000. These checks will be handed out at this meeting.

Next monthly meeting: Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. in the Savannah room.
